Teaching My Daughter to Drive Stick — In My M3

Some parents teach their kids to drive in a Corolla. I taught mine in my 2019 BMW M3 Competition. Was it terrifying? Absolutely. Did she stall it 47 times in the first hour? Yes. Did she accidentally chirp the tires and scare an elderly neighbor? I plead the fifth. But by the end of the weekend, she could heel-toe downshift better than most adults I know.
