2,900 miles coast-to-coast in a Rivian R1T. Here's what it's really like to road trip across America in an electric truck.

My wife thought I was insane when I suggested driving our Rivian R1T from San Francisco to New York. 2,900 miles. An electric truck. Across the country. But we did it in 5 days, charging at a mix of Rivian Adventure Network chargers, Tesla Superchargers (with adapter), and a few Level 2 stops. Total electricity cost: $127. Total memories: priceless.
